How long will coffee beans last?

I’ve got a bag of jamican blue coffee that I totally forgot about. The bag has never been opened and they are whole beans. The bag of coffee was pretty pricey, I’m just wondering how long coffee beans will stay good in a sealed plastic bag??
The bag is air tight and has never been opened. It’s about a year old though!

Coffee, if it has been roasted can last quite a while.
I would make a pot and see how it tastes. If it is bad, add it to your potted plants soil. If it’s good, keep it.
